Gareth is the newly promoted Captain of the USS Sanchez, his primary training was as a science officer and engineer before he transitioned to a career track leading to Command. He enjoys classic literature, fencing, blade smithing, and loves chess. The senior officers on the USS Sanchez include: Commander Zelda Ibanez, a capable and by the book executive officer. Lieutenant Shinzo Igawa, a diminutive, but talented tactical officer. And Doctor Alisha Hwang the compassionate Chief Medical Officer.

Captain Okpara grimaces, draws her bow and lets an arrow fly in Q's direction. Q vanishes in a flash of light before the arrow can reach him. The voice persists after his exit. "Tsk, tsk... Captain... Remember all that you've sacrificed for your job... you'll understand what's going on soon enough." Captain Okpara sighs. "Why did it have to be Q?"

Meanwhile in the tower... Captain Kwan is more confused than Captain Okpara. He's in a castle, in fancy medieval clothing, but hasn't seen anyone from his ship yet. That's when Q appears in a flash of light. "Greetings Captain Kwan." Kwan sighs and asks Q. "Great, how did I get involved in this?"
