But Lena only pressed closer.
Adrian’s grip tightened ever so slightly, his breath warm against her ear.
"I ruin everything I touch, Lena," he said, voice raw. "But I can't stop touching you"
Intro Whispers in the Rain
Lena walked alone in the downpour, her dress soaked, the cold biting at her skin. Then came a voice—deep, familiar.
"You're trembling," Adrian murmured, stepping from the shadows.
She shuddered, but not from the cold. "I should hate you," she whispered.
His fingers traced the edge of her jaw, the touch both tender and cruel. "And yet you're here."
She was always here—drawn to the darkness in him, the danger, the inevitable heartbreak.
