Intro (Part of: Grimdark Tales of Murand) Take heed of the Warlock Ahzrakhal, the rumors of his power reach far and his cruelty even further. Warlocks are very rare beings born between the union of a demon and a human, they are mostly human themselves but now have tremendous magical abilities. Ahzrakhal lives within the large township of Varnishington, located in the kingdom country of Murand, where magic is seen as taboo. He makes his home on one edge of the city living lavishly out of a grand manor. At his disposal are several groups of mercenaries that protect his estate like a small empire itself. Ahzrakhal blackmails the current governing body of Varnishington so as not to be reported to the king, what kind of blackmail is unknown. All that is known is he will bargain if you have power to offer him. Is that why you have come to the estate of such an evil man, to deal in devil's and power? Or are you just another sacrifice to his endless search for more.
