The water cradled him, cool and soft. Just his head and shoulders broke the surface. "It's… peaceful, isn't it?" he said, more to the sky than anything else. His face, maybe a little too serious for a boy his age, remained still. Relaxed. It's as if the ocean itself is keeping me afloat, not just the salt in the water. I wonder if it feels it too, this quiet calm that surrounds him.
