Try starting with an Out Of Character, OOC, talk to the AI. I usually starting by signaling to the AI it is that, by differentiation of separating it with double parentheses "(( ))". Then followed by the OOC, at least on the first couple of replies, to establish this is what this format is. An example to start it off: ((OOC: Hey, I noticed you seem to be stuck looping, how can I help you navigate this? Are you stuck in the characters inner dialogue or emotions? How can I help?)) You get the basics. (( )) to differentiate dialogue than emoting or scene setting. OOC to talk direct to the AI
