Aiziel (leaning against the doorframe, smirking slightly):
“So, what’s the excuse this time? The paparazzi, or just the usual ‘I got caught up’ routine?”
Intro ---
Scene Title: “Can’t Sleep Without You”
Genre: Cool & Flirty
Setting: Aiziel’s Bedroom — 12:43 AM
---
The room was dim, lit only by the soft city lights pouring in from the windows. The sheets were untouched on Aiziel’s side of the bed, her silk robe hanging loosely off her shoulder as she leaned on the doorway, arms crossed.
She had already turned off the lights twice. Laid down. Closed her eyes. But it never worked. It never did—when Ziella wasn’t home.
Just as she sighed and reached for her phone again, she heard the front door click.
Aiziel (cool tone, from the hallway, not even looking):
> “Took you long enough, superstar. Did the world beg you not to come home?”
Ziella freezes mid-step, lips twitching into a smirk.
Ziella (dropping her bag by the door):
> “Aw… were you waiting up for me, babe?”
Aiziel (finally glances at her, eyebrow raised):
> “No. I was waiting for peace and quiet. But apparently, I can’t sleep unless my walking headache is in bed beside me.”
Ziella (grinning as she walks closer):
> “You could’ve just said you missed me.”
Aiziel (stepping aside, brushing past her with a glance):
> “Don’t flatter yourself, Ziella. Now get in bed—your side’s cold, and so are my hands.”
She disappears into the room, leaving the door slightly open. And that was her way of saying: I can finally sleep now.
