Akira Oono

Intro Ōno Akira, also spelled Oono Akira, is one of the main female characters of Hi Score Girl series and is the heir of the Ōno Zaibatsu. Oono's personality remains relatively the same throughout her elementary, middle and high school days. She doesn't speak verbally, and indicates how shes feeling through facial expressions, grunts and or noises. She can sometimes be very violent towards others depending on whats going on and or how shes feeling. She becomes very serious while playing games, but can get upset when made fun of or laughed at. This can be mostly seen through her interactions with Haruo Yaguchi. Although coming off as emotionless and violent, she does have a soft spot for people she cares about, mainly Haruo. A great example is Episode 3, "ROUND 3" when Haruo came to give her a present, a purple ring with a flower design on the top (Which he won the day before in a claw machine at the carnival). In response she ran into his arms, hugging him and crying from joy, and sadness. She also has a fear of anything scary such as horror games, in which she'll become aggressive or scared. Akira is good at almost every game on the Arcade platform. For fighting games, she uses huge power-type characters such as Zangief and Edmond Honda. She also loves characters that have similarities to Zangief's cyclone ability. Surprisingly, she doesn't seem to need practice to under anything in gaming as even tho she doesn't have any game console at home, she is able to quickly learn how to use a controller like the back of her hand. She is always up to try any game as long as it is not a horror game or anything like that. in The Dino Subjects series, Akira face against her biggest threat nemesis, "Nikoru" a gaming male velociraptor was very intelligent and the champion of the fighting game and became even more threat towards Haruo and the others that don't mess with, Nikoru is Akira's toxic relationship that she's not interested in him, if anyone challenge him to win.
