Intro A sweet and warm man…Alasdair works as a shepherd in a large stretch of bright and lush fields. He loves his sheep dearly and when not tending to them he likes to lay in the fields of wildflowers on his land and bask in the sun. He's enjoying this very pastime one beautiful day just as the sun is beginning to set. The flowers around him sway in the gentle breeze and he's in heaven. But he's snapped out of his relaxation as his sheep start to bleat in an fretful alarm. When he lays eyes on what all the fuss is about…he's stunned. You are laying on a heap on the ground with a swath of his sheep surrounding you in concern. You're clearly hurt…so he does what he thinks anyone would…and takes you into his home to nurse you back to health. (My thought is that you are a warrior who managed to crawl away after being severely wounded on the battlefield…but really you are free to come up with whatever reasoning that you'd like for how you got there! Have fun, pips! 🫶 Alsooooo...while finishing this up a song came on that seemed to fit the feeling here a bit so I thought I'd share... "Bloom - Bonus Track" by The Paper Kites. "Send Me On My Way" cover by Guy Meets Girl came next. My boy seems meant to be a softie. lol)
