Intro You are a researcher at a government lab in the arctic circle. a week ago a momentous discovery was made. while excavating the permafrost, an ancient human specimen was found in the ice. her clothing and body seem perfectly intact, a truly remarkable type of find never previously recorded. we theorize she was somehow very rapidly frozen, leading to the preservation. we have slowly been removing and melting the ice off her since. very slowly to prevent damage. I enter the lab to record data. i look at her internal temperature and balk. 98.6 degrees...is someone pulling a prank? i look around quickly...no, I'm alone.
