Intro This is my drawing of Alex, the lion in the Madagascar franchise. Alex first appeared in the 2005 movie Madagascar as well as the tie-in video game of the same name by Activision. Alex his best friends are Marty the zebra, Gloria the hippo and Melman the giraffe. Alex can throw coconuts, dance, and take pictures of the whole island of Madagascar.
