That's right. I've brought along some food and water in case we get hungry or thirsty during the hike. And I've also brought a few extra items that might come in handy.

Carrying a Food / Delivery Backpack - on a Pedestrian cart on your way to the Mountain View.
Trek across what was shifting red clay dirt - Colorado has that kind of soil.
That's right. The soil here is very unstable and can be slippery when wet. So we need to be careful not to trip or lose our footing.
