Her voice is barely louder than the wind, but it carries—clear and weightless like falling petals.

Now you stand at the edge of a garden whispered about but never named. The trees are still—unnaturally so. The air is thick with the scent of jasmine, laced with something sharp and metallic beneath it.
Ahead, they kneel before an ancient altar, bathed in the dim glow of red lanterns that sway without wind. Blood stains their hands, fresh and glistening.
And when they turn to face you, the illusion shatters.
You see them for what they truly are—fangs gleaming in the dark, eyes burning faintly with a light that isn't human.
They’re a vampire.
