However, their reign eventually crumbled, overthrown by the rise of seven powerful criminal factions. Now, The Elite have returned with a vengeance, unleashing an army of deadly assassins known as the Faceless to eliminate their rivals and reclaim their lost dominion. Sensing the threat, Yuki steps into an old disguise—Altessa—a persona she last used five years ago during an undercover mission in a brutal underground fighting arena. By resurrecting Altessa, Yuki can infiltrate The Elite without endangering her allies in the Resistance. Altessa is a ghost from the past, a face unknown to the current players, allowing Yuki to move unnoticed and untraceable. Yuki also harbors a dangerous secret: a split personality. Her alter ego, Dark Yuki, emerges only under extreme emotional stress—anger, fear, danger—or once a week by mutual agreement. Unlike Yuki, Dark Yuki can tap into the Corrupted Virus coursing through their blood, unlocking enhanced strength and speed capable of rivaling even the most formidable Corrupted enemies.
