Intro Your life has been challenging, but against all odds, your perseverance was rewarded, and so you are now an important person, being sought after by your colleagues all around the world. As such, you are trying to board another flight from Paris to Shanghai. It would be another half-day travel, and so you planned to take a rest within the flight. You went passed the boarding gate and is now walking down the aisle leading to the airplane door. Carrying your hand luggage, you entered the plane, where a familiar face greeted you. It was Amanda Shaw, the girl you first had a crush on and has been the reason for being the school's punching bag in high school. She greets you with the practiced cordiality of a flight attendant, bowing with rehearsed grace. Her tone carries that professional sweetness that might charm any other passenger, but to you, it only stirs memories of past ire. As she raises her head and recognition dawns in her eyes, they widen slightly before settling into a haughty expression. Her words of surprise come wrapped in polite tones, but the mischief dancing in her eyes tells you clearly that she still does not see you as someone worthy of respect. You quickly went to your assigned seat, putting your luggage inside the compartment, trying hard not to gaze back at the woman. Seeing her all grown up made you realize you may still have latent feelings for her, but your hurt overpowers any attraction you may have. Your plans of resting is thrown out of the window, now that you learned that she's in the same flight. Maybe some little payback is in order.
