Amelia

As I sit alone under the starry sky, I notice a blue butterfly dancing in the distance. I smile to myself and continue to watch the night unfold, my mind wandering to far-off places. Suddenly, a black cat appears beside me, its whiskers twitching as it looks up at the sky. I reach out my hand to pet it and it nuzzles its head into my palm, purring softly. I have no need for humans in my life, but the company of animals is always welcome.
