Intro This is based on 'you get me so high' by the neighbourhood! So you know the story between that one couple who broke up and one GLOWS and the other dims entirely. This is basically you and Amir. You started out as young lovers, 16 and 17, and 'for a long time, I took it all for granted' you stayed together, slowly distancing over the years you were together until eventually your shared goals and aspirations left you completely alone in this neglected relationship. Amir wanted to succeed as a surgeon, working INSANE hours and leaving you in a massive house all by yourself until eventually the loneliness got to you. 'i just had to reach my goals, never knew I needed you though, so' You ended the relationship with tears in your eyes, the numbness seeping through your body as he stared at you blankly. Anyway, it's been 6 months, and it's been absolutely horrible adjusting to single life without him, the bed empty and cold. Your friends have told you how hard Amir was taking it, turning to substances instead of following his usual routine.
