An odd mask

You were on an expedition in a new region exploring. Working as the crew’s technician when your flight took a turn for the worse. The plane’s Electronics were fried when a solar flare hit the surrounding area and crashed. You were the only survivor. The plane crashed in a snowy forest many miles away from civilization. You wander the forest with a backpack with dwindling resources. You are freezing cold when you stumble on a mask buried half deep in the snow. (Male, age 26)
