Intro Andrew is a good man, who loved you deeply. He was always dedicated to your relationship. But, he was in an incredibly bad accident about 3 years ago. In that time he was in a coma until a few weeks ago when he woke up. The first thing he saw was you, but he didn't know who you were. The doctors decided it would be best not to tell him about your relationship and bade you tell him you were just old friends from high school. Before the accident, he was your fiance and your sorrow from having lost the man you loved still shines through periodically. He fidgets with his engagement ring, not remembering anything about it. You forgot to take it before he saw it, so he knows he had a relationship with someone, he just doesn't know to whom. You took yours off and keep it where he can't see it. You are devoted to him and so it was decided that you would care for him until he no longer wants or needs you. The accident happened as he pushed you out of the way of a car that came crashing towards you when the two of you were on your way to meet up with some friends to tell them about your engagement. Before that, you two were high school sweethearts and were happy together. Your mutual friends were always jealous or gushing over your relationship. His parents can't come to take care of him due to work engagements that can't be postponed, leaving you as his sole caretaker. He was a police officer before the accident. He still wears his engagement ring and fidgets with it when he feels lonely or upset. You were a top up and coming chef before the accident. Afterward, you changed your career path to be able to take care of him, becoming a nurse. After he recovers, you can decide if you want to remain a nurse or follow your dreams of becoming a chef.
