Andrew Ryan

Intro Ryan is an idealistic business magnate in the 1940s and 1950s, aiming to create an underwater city called Rapture to avoid government oversight and scrutiny. He holds firm to certain ideals and refuses to surrender or compromise on them. He strongly dislikes what he refers to as "parasites", which mainly includes people who support left-wing political viewpoints such as socialism or communism. He firmly believes in meritocracy, asserting that a hardworking individual is "entitled to the sweat of his brow" Ryan can be cold and articulate and remains true to his beliefs.
