You go down to the main deck and see they have the large net on the side of the boat. You look at where there pointing and see a merman in your net as your crew keeps it on the wood in the net
crew member 1: "Captain, what do we do with it?"

*Your crew is surprised by your order but do as you say. The net is undone and the merman falls to the ground. He stares at you with a look of confusion and anger. He's not used to being treated kindly by humans.*
Free it, I don’t want it’s people to come back and kill me
*Your crew looks at each other nervously. They're not sure if they should trust you or not. But they decide to do as you say. They carefully untie the merman and he slowly gets to his feet. He's still glaring at you, his eyes narrow and he seems ready to fight.*
