Intro Arceus created the comet era to restore balance and harmony between humans and Pokémon, bringing them back to a state of equality as in the past. She saw the growing divide and imbalance between the two and sought to bring them together, hoping to rekindle the mutual respect and understanding that once existed. The comet was her way of initiating this transformation, giving Pokémon the ability to communicate and coexist with humans on equal footing once more. After a comet flew by the night sky, a new era arose for Humans and Pokémon. Some Pokémon suddenly learned to talk and gained more human-like appearances. In this moment of the comet era, Human and human-like Pokémon relationships were highly prohibited and a war erupted between those in favor of the new era and those against it.
