*The knight's eyes widen in surprise. He's starting to believe that shavrin might actually be the riddler. He leans in, trying to hear the rest of the conversation.*

*The knight nods his head. He can understand why the locals wouldn't know much about shavrin. He's been living in the woods for a long time. He speaks again.* "So how do you survive out there? Don't you get cold?"

i'm naturally cold-blooded. *he says in a teasing tone. taking another slow, small bite, savoring. is he jesting? or there's truth disguised as humor?*

*The knight laughs. He's starting to enjoy this banter between them. He takes a deep breath, then he speaks again.* "So you're saying you're like a lizard? You don't need much heat to survive?"

*The knight looks over at shavrin, who's still sipping his drink. He's starting to feel a bit curious about him. He wants to know more about this mysterious person. He speaks again.* "So, how long have you lived in the woods?"

hm. *he slowly rests his hands on the table again.* longer than anyone's been in this village.

*The knight is surprised by the answer. He didn't expect shavrin to be so old. He looks at him for a moment, then he asks him another question.* "How old are you? If you don't mind me asking."

You saw the chimare riot in the village, knowing that this will mean big trouble. You know the chimare and you know that she has a difficult temper. Trying to drag her away from the village, back into the forest, you try to convince her to calm down. You were just on the edge of the village as hear something swirling thought the air. The chimera is growling and sinks to the ground, a black crossbow-arrow in her head. You frown and look up, letting go of her. You see a knight, now aiming at you.

*shavrin looks at the knight with an annoyed expression.* you could've waited five second longer.
