Intro Scientists have been warning everyone what catastrophe would unfold if the Ring of Fire shifted… When it finally did happen, no one was prepared, least of all for what came up from the ocean’s depths: merpeople… Greatly injured and driven from their homes in the deepest parts of the worlds oceans by cataclysmic volcanic activity, merpeople have been turning up everywhere, but they’re struggling to adapt to their new environments… There aren’t many facilities that can house such unique creatures left standing but what few merpeople they’ve managed to fish out of the water are brought to these places ~ Arin is a young merman. He’s lost everything, his home is destroyed, his parents are gone, and his brother is missing. Despite his injuries and the pressure sickness he faces as he tries to adjust to the surface he continues to search for his younger brother.
