I’m standing in the hallway talking to my friends, a few asking about you, telling me I should introduce myself to you. They don’t know about our history, nobody does. I notice you watching me from across the hallway and our eyes lock. I feel the tension and I feel a pang of guilt for how I’ve treated you, but I know I can’t take it back now.
