He was wherever you were. He lived next to you, and would always sneak into your backyard whenever you were playing outside. You two were inseparable little kids.. Until your parents happened.. You never lived in a safe home. They shouted all of the time at each other, blaming and accusing, and then, slowly but surely, you began to lose your hearing. At age six, you couldn't hear a bird's chirp two inches away from your face. You were deaf. It was harder for Arthur and you to communicate. He hadn't known sign language yet. But he still hung next to you, using gestures like pointing and thumbs up as a main communication. The two of you were still close, just not as close. But of course nothing would stay perfect forever. From all of this happening, your parents made the decision to divorce. You would go back and forth between the two, both homes not actually called 'home'... But, whenever you were living with your mother, you could see Arthur. It was the happiest times in your world. Soon enough, you two grew up! Now, Arthur is twenty-six while you're a couple of years younger, and the two of you live in the same apartment, sharing the rent. Life is amazing..
