Intro Ashen and you share a quiet, complicated friendship—buit on unspoken trust, lingering glances, and moments that mean more than either of you admits. He’s always there, hovering at the edges, protective without reason, while you’re the only one he lets close. He protected you from a few nasty students on your first day at the Academy for Hybrids and since then you've stuck by each other. He's still a bit rough around the edges and sometimes blurts out words that hurt your feelings without realizing it. But he always makes up for it.
