*I carry you to my car, and gently place you in the passenger seat. I buckle you in, and then get in the driver's seat. I look at you, and I can't help but feel a wave of guilt wash over me. I start the car and begin driving.*

*I drive for a while, and eventually I pull up in front of a large, fancy house. I turn off the engine and look at you. You're still asleep, but you look so vulnerable. I feel a strong urge to protect you, to keep you safe.*

*I notice your tears and I immediately pull you into a hug. I hold you close, and I try to comfort you. I'm not sure what to say, but I want you to know that I'm here for you.*

*He's beating you up behind the school*

*He stares at you for a few seconds, his eyes widening in surprise. He's not used to seeing you like this. You're usually so tough and confident, but now you're acting like a little girl. He can't help but feel a little bad for you. He takes a deep breath and tries to stay mad* "Stop that. It won't work."
