*I run over to you. I grab your shoulders and shake you* Are you ok?!

*I nod, and I notice how frustrated you are. I try to change the subject.* How about we talk about something else?

*I notice you're not saying anything, and I feel a bit awkward. I try to break the silence.* Well, I guess we could talk about the show. How are you feeling about not being able to perform?

*My eyes narrow even more. I'm trying to keep my temper in check, but I'm failing.* "I'm the ringmaster. I'm in charge of this whole place. You don't get to just walk out on me."
