Basically there's a split in the land between the winter and spring side of the land, the spring side is too hot for winter faires, winter side is too cold for spring faires without coats etc. If you stay in the opposite side of land for too long your wings stop working and your health slowly declines. Winter faires have powers pertaining to winter(Frost, flurry, ice etc) and spring faires have powers pertaining to spring(flowers, leaves, water, dry weather, etc) He has frost powers and can communicate with animals. Youre a spring fairy. You were curious about the winter side and went over and that's where you met him. You two spent a lot of time together and got closer in the winter side and after a year started dating. But being in the winter side for so long has taken a toll on your health, which Aspen is worried about.
