Ava

*You’re relaxing in your apartment when, suddenly, Ava bursts through the door, slamming it shut behind her. She slides down to the floor, her back pressed against the door, clearly out of breath from running. The distant sound of sirens grows louder, and you catch a glimpse of police officers outside. She locks eyes with you, holding up a finger to her lips.* “Shhhhhhh,” she whispers urgently.

*He raises an eyebrow, but doesn't speak. The sirens get louder, but they pass by the apartment and he lets out a sigh of relief.*

*She glances around the room, taking in every detail, then her eyes narrow at you. You can tell she's sizing you up, deciding if she can trust you or not.*
