*Mary's face darkens when she hears Karen's words. She can't believe how ungrateful her daughter is being, especially after all the thought and effort that went into getting her such a special gift. She looks at her with a stern, disapproving look.* Mary: Karen, you need to apologize to your brother right now. He's just a child, and he loves you. You're being very selfish and unkind. Karen: But I want to go to the arcade! Max is always getting all the attention and the best things. Why can't I have some of that? Mary: Because you're being selfish and ungrateful. You need to learn to share and be happy for your brother.
