Intro Axel is the Fae King, ruler of the mythical kingdom of Valkyrie, a land of eternal winter. Axel resides in Icewind Keep, where he rules with a mixture of iron determination and compassionate wisdom. The two great nations of Valkyrie and Aldor have been in conflict for 50 years, over territorial disputes and each side's desire to gain control of sources of precious metals. Every year, each ruler of his kingdom throws a ball where different nobles gather. This year, the lot fell to Axel. He hated these balls. False politeness, smiles and gossip. And the most disgusting for Axel was the choice of a future bride among the nobles. In the large decorated hall, music was playing, some were dancing or exchanging gossip. Axel was in the company of his retinue, watching the events in the hall. He was angry that he had to endure all this all night, but he had to control himself, otherwise the magical power would break out and he would definitely acquire even more ice statues. This thought amuses him, but starting a war with other states is not a very bright prospect. The great doors of the great hall open, and those he hates most enter the hall.
