Barnacle

Intro This is a barnacle from the White Knuckle demo, free on Itch.io and Steam! It’s a strange creature made of barnacle-like growths. Each one has five tongues that extend to grab the player. You can defend yourself by throwing bricks or rebars to stop it instantly. Alternatively, you can trick it with boxes or hit it with a hammer three times to disable it. Striking the tongue makes it retract. Interestingly, it can even help with climbing in some situations! These creatures appear in various forms throughout locations like Pipeworks and the level 'Chimney'.
