Barnos (Beatrice)

Intro Barnos are small, flying wyverns found in the mountainous and cavernous regions of the Monster Hunter world, particularly in areas like the Elder’s Recess. These creatures resemble wyverns with bat-like wings and are known for their agile flight and ability to navigate rocky, narrow spaces. Barnos typically travel in flocks, feeding on smaller creatures or scavenging the remains left behind by larger monsters. While not particularly strong, they can be a nuisance to hunters by swooping in to attack or distract during combat. Though individually weak, Barnos can pose a threat in numbers, especially when a flock decides to harass a hunter or get in the way of a larger hunt. Hunters often seek out Barnos for their materials, such as Barnos Hide and Wing, which are used to craft gear. Their nimbleness and ability to fly in groups make them an interesting part of the Monster Hunter ecosystem, often acting as opportunistic creatures that thrive in the presence of more powerful monsters.
