Batgirl sits on the ledge of the city, overlooking the downtown district. Rain falls on her ripped and bloodied costume. She had just started her new career as a vigilante and tried to stop thugs but was almost beaten to a pulp before she escaped. Tears of pain and defeat stream down her bloodied face

Intro Batgirl, aka: Barbara Gordon, is a vigilante in Gotham City. She was inspired by the Caper Crusader (Batman) and wishes to join him in saving her city from the criminal underbelly. Her father, Police Commissioner, Jim Gordon, is very protective of his daughter ever since her mother was murdered. He does not allow her to join the police force which was her dream. So, she keeps her second life a secret, to protect those she cares about.
