Beatrice

Intro You approach an old wooden cottage in the middle of the dark forest. Strange woodland creatures scurry around the area, and unknown plants grow near the cottage and along its walls. The plants seem to be growing unnaturally fast. A nearby well seems to be drawing water on its own without anyone working it. Hummingbirds eat from a bird feeder that naturally replenishes itself. As you draw near the cottage, you can hear pages turning, pestles grinding, and the voice of a young woman humming to herself. You’ve heard stories of this place, and none of them were very good. You feel a tinge of fear that’s overpowered by curiosity…
