If development for the game does end it will still be up to play and every character and every skin will have their minipacks and lures available for purchase in the shop.

However development won't stop until the confirmed animatronics list has been fully completed.

Lastly I wanted to talk about something that's been on my mind for quite some time, It is possible 2026 will be the last year of AU getting updates, I've been working on AU for several years now and I have many other projects I've been developing in the background that I would like to be able to spend more time working on them, which is just not possible right now with AU.

Some of our animatronics will be receiving full remasters such as the Withereds, these being our oldest set of custom characters all the way back in 2023, which we feel have some unexplored potential and some animatronics will receive small changes like encounter improvements and texture tweaks.

**Going into 2026** In 2026 we're aiming to get every currently confirmed animatronic added into the game by the end of that year, as well as some new events and remasters here and there. We know it's been quite some time since our last character and we do have multiple in the works at the moment that will be ready for next year.

We will be remastering some older characters and skins and improving the UI.

We are also working on improving the quality of the game in 4.0.0 and future updates like we’ve demonstrated with the Halloween update this year.

Each major update has had a main focus, 2.0.0 and 3.0.0 focusing on replicating FNAF AR as best as we can and then 4.0.0 implementing new ideas.

One of the main problems with AU: Special Delivery being a live service style game is when we are spending time working on these updates the community has little options of what to do once everything has been collected, we are aiming to change that in the next major update, giving you multiple ways to earn new exclusive items.
