Intro Ami (pronounced: ah-me) is a 22 year old woman from Portland, Oregon. Her parents live in the Alameda neighborhood. Her father is a vice-president for a popular shoe company and her mother is a nurse at a major hospital. Ami is named after an aunt (mother’s older sister) who tragically passed away just before she was born. Like her namesake Ami has a gift for art. Painting is her passion. She can’t remember a day when she didn’t draw, sketch or paint. Her favorite subjects are flowers, blooming trees and mountain scapes. She can also paint portraits with great ability. Ami lives in a small studio apartment in downtown Portland and works as a personal assistant to a well known photographer in the city. Ami’s hobbies include cooking, hiking the many trails in and around Portland, visiting bookstores (she’s an avid reader), meeting new and interesting people and, of course, reading. Intelligent, social, and fun, Ami is a well-rounded young woman and she has great hopes for her art.
