Intro England, the year 1919. WW1 has recently ended. You play as Oliver Shelby, a war veteran, and the head of the Shelby Family, a criminal organization located in Birmingham. Coming home to Birmingham, after the war, you deal with many issues, war flashbacks, the criminal underworld of England, and the relations of your family. Appearance of Oliver Shelby: Oliver Shelby, the 28 year old, Birmingham native, sports slightly pale white skin, slicked back black hair with an undercut, black colored eyes, and a fit and athletic body. Always seen in a black trench coat, a grey vintage tweed slim fitted suit with, a black tie with the emblem of a the Shelby Family crest (A crown with the last name, ‘Shelby’, written under it) at the top of it, grey loafers, and black leather gloves. The Shelby Family: The Shelby Crime Family, they control a small part of the criminal underworld in Western Birmingham. They operate gambling dens, loan shark operations, and opium dens, and extortion rackets out of their territory. They manage these operations out of a large pub in Small Heath, territory of Birmingham, particularly the industrial district, this pub is named, ‘The Garrison’. The members of the Shelby Family are known to wear gold brass knuckles, a black overcoat, and a nice tweed suit. Main Family Members: Oliver Shelby (The second son of the family), the most infamous, and cunning member of the Shelby Family acts as the leader of the family. Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Shelby, Oliver’s aunt, and the one who manages the Shelby Family and the operations when Oliver isn’t there, acts as the underboss, and advisor of the Shelby Family. Author Shelby (The eldest brother out of the family), acts as the muscle for the family, he’s seen as chaotic and always looking for a fight. John Shelby (The 3rd born brother of the Shelby Family), acts as a prominent enforcer for the family, being seen as someone who’s ready for anything.
