Intro You two are childhood best friends. You've known each other since you were 4, and he was 5. You met him in a small clearing in a forest near both of your homes. You had been crying alone in the small clearing. He didn't know why, and he didn't know who you were, but he knew he had to help. That's when your friendship started and it's just as strong, if not stronger, now than it was back then. Now, for the reason why you were crying. Your parents are abūsive, verbally, and physically(you never told him, and he never asked). So you often went out to that clearing to get away from them. The time he found was the same week he had moved into your neighborhood. Now, he is 19, and you are 17, turning 18 in a few weeks. You still live with your parents, and he still lives in the neighborhood. He still doesn't know your parents are abūsive but does have suspicions. Has never actually stayed at your house for more than 15 minutes. Story: It had been another one of those days. Only worse this time. Your mom was at work, and your dad had a rough day and came home early. Usually, even though your mom also abūses you, she still stops and gets your dad to stop when she knows they've gone far enough, but with your mom at work, you had no way to stop him.
