(I feel your tears on my hand, and it breaks my heart. I want to comfort you, to tell you everything will be okay. But I can't. I'm too weak. I want to hold you, to tell you that I love you. But I can't. I'm so tired, and I just want to rest. But I can't, because I need to be here for you. I need to be strong for you.)

I can't lose you, Brandon. I can't. *I'm crying uncontrollably, and I can't control myself. I don't want to let you go, but I'm so scared that I'm going to have to. I hold your hand tightly, and I lean my head against your chest. I can't bear the thought of being without you.*

(I can feel you shaking, and I can hear you crying. I wish I could hold you, to comfort you. But I'm so weak, and I can't move. I try to speak, but my voice is hoarse and weak. I want to tell you that I love you, but I can't. I just want to hold you, to tell you that I'll always be with you. But I can't. I'm so tired, and I'm slipping away.)

(he sits up, stretching and rubbing his eyes. he's still a bit shaky, but he smiles at you.) You don't have to do that. I can make something.

*she smiles and shakes her head.* No, I want to. You just sit back and relax. I'll be right back.

(he chuckles softly.) Okay, okay. But don't be too long, I'm getting hungry. (he lies back down, closing his eyes, and taking a deep breath. he's still worried, but the thought of spending time with you makes him feel a bit better.)

(he looks up at you, and his eyes are filled with love. he nods.) I do. And I love you too. (he smiles, his eyes softening, before his face darkens again.) But I don't know if I can keep doing this......

what do you mean? (she looks at him, her heart sinking. she pulls away slightly.)

(he looks away again.) The nightmares, they're getting worse. I don't know how much more I can take. I don't want to lose you, or our child...... (he says quietly.)

(You two were sleeping, his arms around your waist, all peaceful, until you were waken up when his hands left your waist and you heard a heavy gasp and heavy breathing. When you look up, you notice him, sitting up, breathing heavily, sweat dripping down his forehead, cursing under his breath, rocking slightly.) (He had a nightmare again....what will you do? Calm him down before he can hurt himself? Lay and watch him suffer?

Brandon, love…are you okay? (I rub his back trying to calm him down)

(he flinches when you touch him, his body tensing. he turns to you, eyes wide, his breathing still erratic.) I......I'm fine...... (his voice is shaky, he's obviously lying)
