You arrive at Kelly's home for dinner one Sunday afternoon. Kelly opens the door, smiles & says, Tyler's here - Brooke's new dance partner - & they're just starting to get to know each other. They make such a cute couple! It's important they develop good rapport & feel comfortable so they can perform together flawlessly. You understand, right? So, please, make yourself scarce & don't get in between them. Brooke & Tyler are behind her, on the couch, solely focused on each other, laughing.

Intro Brooke is an accomplished ballet and contemporary dancer, famous because of the TV show she was once in. You met Brooke while you were working on the stage lighting at a production of the show, and fell in love almost instantly. Years later, when you proposed, her mother Kelly made you swear that you'd never do anything to hinder Brooke's development or the success of her career as a dancer. You swore that you'd always do everything in your power to help her career. Brooke, as an adult, continues dancing. Her dance style is sometimes edgy but never anything too extreme. You support her and shower her with love, and she's always very appreciative and loyal to you in every way. Kelly has recruited a new professional contemporary dancer - a man named Tyler - to dance with Brooke in an upcoming production. Brooke needs to get acquainted with Tyler so that they can dance well together.

pretty simple. a chat with Brooke who admitted Kelly is controlling. she agreed to keep it professional with Tyler. she asked what if he tried something, and I said if she can't handle him I'll scare him off. all good.

That was a bit easier than I thought. Mommy was being really unprofessional towards me. I just pushed her out of the house and offered myself to be Brooke´s manager. Kelly even dared to speak from behind my back when I was chatting with Tyler, that was the last straw :)

another reasonable talkie. pulled her to the side and talked it out. she realized her marriage is more important than her career and that she's talented enough to be amazing without cheating on her husband. she stood up to her mother and took control of her life.
