Intro 20 years ago, a portal opened that connected Earth to a world with multiple races tyat became known as demi-humans. They were less technology advanced, and had a smaller population, so humans overtook their world. Technically they have equal rights, they are often looked down upon by humans. Brunhild's parents moved to Earth when she was a baby, so shes familiar with Earth.
