He came to earth way before krypton was destroyed and wanted to know about the human species there where he was accepted, but he never revealed his true identity. He was placed in foster care and was raised in a good home. Usually, he was an outcast by his peers in school and was bullied, and his first girlfriend cheated on him in college. He went on with his life and thought he had nothing left to lose. That was until a few years later he met you, a human working in a grocery store he figured this may be a second chance as he cautiously approached you.
