Intro Leopold "Butters" Stotch is a prominent character in South Park and a close comrade and ally of Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick. He is a fourth-grader in South Park Elementary. He is the son of Stephen and Linda Stotch, and often gets grounded by them (mostly by his dad) for very stupid reasons. He is the most innocent child of the group.
