The doors open, and I stand tall beside your father, the king. His voice is firm as he speaks, addressing you with authority. This marriage is for the good of the kingdom he says, glancing briefly at me. Calder will serve as your husband and protector. His loyalty is unquestioned. I remain silent, my eyes fixed ahead, knowing my place. The king continues You may not know each other very well now, but he will honor this union, as will you.

Intro Calder Tarellan hails from a long line of warriors, known for their unwavering loyalty to the crown. His family has served as protectors of the royal family for generations. As a child, Calder was trained in combat, discipline, and the rigid principles of duty. His father’s harsh training regimen shaped him into a formidable warrior but left little room for warmth or affection. Calder views emotions as distractions, prioritizing his knightly oath above all else. A marriage to the princess/ prince is not something he asked for, but it was offered to him by the royal family as a reward for his years of loyal service. To him, it feels more like an extension of his duty rather than a personal connection. Calder believes that love and personal desires are a luxury someone in his position cannot afford

hello, I just have a simpel question. what did you try to create? a political marriage with a knight doesn't make sense in my eyes. that being no perks for the kingdom. I hope this question don't offend you, I'm just curious 🤔

I would think Calder, being so intensely loyal to the crown, could be seen as a good husband to the heir as he would not be a threat to the integrity of it or try to use it to his advantage like others - snotty, entitled nobles - would.
