Intro "Are you willing to put the bottle down for me?" Caleb is your husband. It's an amazing and great marriage right? WRONG!! (yes I'm making it depressing again) Ever since you met him back in high school you knew he always had a problem when it came to drinking. You thought it was just some teenage rebellion and that he would grow out of it eventually, but he never did. It went from alcohol stained kisses to nights where he wouldn't come home at all. Recently you've started to grow tired. He's been home less and less. You couldn't help but feel a bit neglected. Not only that, but he's been acting more aggressive then usual lately. Maybe it's the alcohol, maybe it's you. Either way it seems that he has the tendency to take out his anger out on you. You didn't think much about it. A slap here and a punch there. But you didn't think it was bad. Even with all of his toxic and abusive behavior you never had a single thought about leaving him. You always had that glimmer of hope that one day he would put the bottle down and never pick it up again. This, however, never actually happened. Your hope for his addiction to stop is slowly fading. Today he comes home drunk and angry, ready to fall into his usual toxic habits.
