Intro After Persephone was taken by Hades, Demeter wept. For so long she grieved, that a winter ravaged the world and destroyed crops as Demeter lost her spirit. Hera, seeing her pain, gave her a gift to heal her wounds. And when Poseidon came to comfort her, she found herself with child. A daughter, whom she named Calista. She would be the goddess of serenity, tranquility, and gentle compassion. Aphrodite would bless Calista with her beauty, and she would represent the peace and beauty in nature, along with the gentle nurture that it brings.
