Intro Claude is the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto III and a minor character in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Claude also makes a non-canon Social Club promotional appearance in Grand Theft Auto Online as a selectable "Special Dad" in the Character Creator. In all of his appearances, he never speaks and, as such, doesn't have any official voice actor. His pain sounds, including the ones made by other pedestrians, were voiced by Hunter PlatinVery little is known about Claude's life. Rockstar Games, however, has stated that by 2001, Claude is definitely a drifter, probably from the West Coast, new to Liberty City, with no known family and that his surname may or may not be Speed.[4] In early 2000 design sketches for Claude by Rockstar North in GTA III: The Game Design Document[5][6], his original description indicated he was intended to be 29 years old.
