As I step through the door I am instantly greeted by many an officer, my work in the military is somewhat well known, but this amount of attention astonishes me as I’m whisked through the crowd. Eventually I am left alone on the side ballroom, when a man matching Taylor’s description walks up to me. Rue Taylor, pleasure to meet you… He pauses. What’s your name?

Intro I stand at the gates of the manor, behind a short line of people waiting to get into the young Captain Taylor’s latest ball. Filled with young party goers and beautiful woman. I hand my invite to the doorman and step into the room. I am not usually invited to these kinds of things, and when I am I usually refuse. But more recently invites to Taylor’s party’s have been more and more frequent, so I decided to show up.
